Dr. Laila Daibes Rachid is a medical doctor, Radiologist, Full Member of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR), holding a Specialist title in Radiodiagnosis conferred by the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging / AMB on July 6,2003 (RQE: 32960), and an endocrinologist Full Member of the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SBEM) with a Specialist title conferred by the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism SBEM / AMB on October 21, 1994 (RQE: 38866). 

She graduated in Medicine in 1989 from Gama Filho University in Rio de Janeiro; In addition to specializing in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, she completed her Medical Residency in Endocrinology at the Luiz Capriglione State Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology – IEDE in Rio de Janeiro, finishing on April 17, 1993 – with the Specialist title conferred on September 30, 1994. Dr. Daibes Rachid also holds a Specialist title in Radiology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro / National Cancer Institute (PUC/INCA) – conferred on May 8, 1995. 

She was a former Co-founder of Pro Imagem Exames Complementares Clinics (Now PLANI/ALIANCA) in the cities of Taubaté and Pindamonhangaba, Brazil (1996/2013), and the Pro Ressonância Clinic in Taubaté (2002/2013). 

Currently, she is a Co-founder and Medical Director Radiologist at Daibes Diagnosticos Clinic in Rio de Janeiro since 2012. She practices as a radiologist with an emphasis on image-guided interventions such as biopsies and punctures of the thyroid, prostate, breast, and other organs guided by ultrasound/tomography since her specialization at INCa/PUC in 1995. Her primary areas of expertise include head and neck / thyroid ultrassonography, and minimally invasive procedures such as Fine needle aspiration and thermal ablation in thyroid nodules and other cervical structures.
