Emanuela Trani is the Head of the Endocrine Surgery Department at San Carlo di Nancy Hospital – GVM Care and Research in Rome, which serves as the regional reference center for thyroid surgery.
Teacher and tutor in the Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery and “Medicine and Surgery” at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, specifically in general surgery and Endocrine surgery.
Teacher and tutor in postgraduate specialization courses in General Surgery and Endocrinology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome.
Teacher at the National Reference School of Endocrine Surgery of the Italian Society of Surgery (SIC).

Her clinical expertise includes ultrasound diagnostics, eco-assisted procedures, and surgical treatment of endocrine pathology using both conventional and minimally invasive approaches.
In recent years, she has developed significant experience in the surgical treatment of thyroid cancer.
